Bible Healing Scriptures To Test “Whose Report Will You Believe?”

When the doctor’s report is bad, you need some encouragement. Something to help you believe everything will be alright.

I have been there!!

Let me assure you that the following bible scriptures on healing will increase your faith!

Sometimes we feel something is not quite right.  We may wait a little while or sometimes even a long time, but eventually we go to the doctor. He wants to run some tests. Get some lab work done and call you later. You wait anxiously and you pray. You tell yourself not to worry and you don’t share how are feeling even with your closest friends or relatives.

Then, you get a call.

A call to come in. No discussions on the phone this time. This is serious business and serious business requires a “face-to-face” visit and discussion. You expect a “Bad Report”.

What Do You Do When You Get a “Bad Report” ?

You actively read and meditate on these healing scriptures daily and it is amazing how you will start believing God for healing. Even when you don’t feel like it, do it anyway!

Whose Report Will You Believe?

  • Psalm 27:13-14
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
  • Isaiah 53:1- 5
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
  • Matthew 8:5-10,13
“And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.”
  • Mark 9:23
“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”
  • Mark 11:22-24
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
  • Mark 16:17-18
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
  • Luke Chapter 8:41-56
And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him. And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole ; go in peace.

While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.”

  • Luke 18:1
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”
  • John 4:46-53
So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.”
  • John 14:12-14
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
  • Acts 5:14-15
And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.”
  • Acts 14:7-10
And there they preached the gospel. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.”
  • Romans 4:17
“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

Please correct the spelling from “who’s” to “whose” report will you believe. Where is the account of the 12 spies in the bible from which this quotation is taken?
Who’s means who is, which is wrong in this sentence.

Thanks for the help. English never was my strongest subject! I was referring to Isaiah 53 as the basis for the subject. However, I believe the passage you want is found in Numbers. See below:

    Numbers Chapter 13
32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

    Hope that helps. God Bless!

GLORY BE TO GOD! What a testimony. Thank You for sharing and encouraging others. As I’m faced with issues of my own in my own health. God Bless you

We are a family of believers. My mother raised us in the full knowledge and reverence of the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m an ordained minister, my brother is a Pastor, my mom, a missionary of nearly 40 years! My mother is in critical condition and getting worse. She cried unto God to help her. I prayed, everyone has prayed and she is not being healed, she is suffering and getting worse. Before this hit my door I believed everything above; all those scriptures. When we prayed, I believed. We all did. But now I am sad and confused. Is doesn’t happen like those scriptures say it will.

  9. Dominique on October 16th, 2012 4:07 pm

😀 well Bless God! I hope you are doing well. I just prayed for you after reading this thank you for your testimony you are also a blessing to keep your faith so strong through troubled times.

  10. Tasha on April 20th, 2013 11:46 am

Crystal, I am so sorry to hear about your mother and the pain she is going through in her body. Although she is suffering your faith should not waiveer. We serve a God that can do the impossible and if He don’t do it, we know He can. We must learn that as we pray, we pray and say let God’s will be done. There are things we go through in life that we don’t care to go through, but it is God’s will. Jesus before he was crucified prayed and said if this cup can pass me by…..but you see the Word had to be fulfilled. Jesus suffered in His body with all the stripes he suffered but He had to go the route He went so that we will have eternal life. You may not understand why your mother is sick and suffering, but contintue to pray, believe, and allow God’s will to be done in her life. God Bless!

God’s Will is perfect! Thank you for this blog. Please pray and believe for my sister Patricia Cooper who is in the hospital with kidney problems. They have placed her on dialysis. Please pray this is temporary and her kidney respond on their own fully functioning!

    To God Be The Glory!

  12. Dee on July 29th, 2013 2:08 pm

Crystal, my situation was so similar to yours. . I grew up on the Word of God and believe every Word the Bible says. My Mom had a stroke and the doctor gave us reports that she was worsening. I cried because we had been praying and it seemed as if with this report, that God wasn’t answering us. But we stood on the Word of God and my mother is healed! Glory be to God! She is better than ever! God is able! Hold on to his Word…we walk by faith and not by sight! God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think…stay strong and state God’s Word only!

This site is very encouraging. I just got up praying for my sister with “breast cancer.” I heard the LORD saying over and over, “You are going up this mountain (doctor’s office) to get a good report. Regardless of what the doctor says, whose report will you believe?” I thanked Him and went straight to the computer. This is the first, and only site I pulled up! I am giving my sister a copy and keeping one in my home. I am blessed by the Scriptures and every comment. I know she will be overjoyed as well.

😀 Greetings and praise God brethrens. I had googled on what I am passing through ( having one drop of blood for my menstration periods instead of real blood running for three to four days ) when i saw that it was weakening my faith. A question came to my mind that whose report shall we believe and when i searched for it, i landed on the comments under it. Please stand with me prayer , next year, I will be getting married and I am believing for twins and more.
    God bless you.

The environment needs to be influence and aware of Jesus Christ. By his stripes we are healed and we are able to receive salvation . Thank you God for grace and mercy.Who will believe the report… 😉

  16. SYLVESTA on April 4th, 2014 10:52 am

Believe with me that my brother is healed, we just got a bad report from doctors but the Holy Spirit comforted me and said whose report do i believe and i found this side and i was encouraged by the testimonies. Glory to Jesus whose stripes had brought eternal health

  17. james palm on May 21st, 2014 11:07 am

Was praying and the words, Whose report shall you believe came to mind. We sang this song in church. His report says I am free, His report is victory and so on. But I believe by His stripes we are heal, I am healed. Whose report shall you believe. His promises are yes and Amen. Ephesians 3:20 says it all. For God calls things that are not as though they are. 😉 😉 😉 😉

  18. james palm on May 21st, 2014 11:10 am

Whose report shall we believe? I can do all things through Christ Jesus who Strengthens me! There is power in the blood. Believe it and receive it.

  19. james palm on May 21st, 2014 11:20 am

God has the ability to create out of nothing. As he demonstrated in the birth of Isaac. To him who believes all things are possible. 😉 😆 Romans 4:17 says it all.

  20. james palm on May 21st, 2014 11:52 am

Mark 16:17-18…..and these Signs will accompany those who believe in my name; they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; when they drink deadly poison it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on the sick people, and they WILL get well. Amen 😆

I am so thankful for this site and for others testimony and insight on the POWER of GOD’S WORD. My son is facing a challenging time right now due sickle cell anemia and needs God’s divine intervention for TOTAL healing from this disease and health related problems. I KNOW GOD IS ABLE. I have seen His hand move over the years in many situations. Short legs grow out before my eyes, my daughter released from an offense that could have sent to jail, financial interventions, people healed out many afflictions and diseases. So I have witnessed His creative power to know He will move. The Real Power is being in accord with other believer’s UNWAVERING FAITH and in ONE ACCORD to RELEASE HIS POWER and STANDING ON HIS WORD. Please stand with me for my son’s healing and deliverance. God Bless You All.

Than you for these words. I just heard bad bad reports from Shane’s doctor that his cancer is back and more aggressive than before. In 5 days they found nodules in his lung and his liver has lesions as well. He will go through chemo yet i am not scared! I know God is fighting this battle! Not me! God says I should not fear! He is in complete control . Pray for Shane health please!

  23. Patricia on August 19th, 2014 2:53 pm

I woke up this morning with this Scripture in my heart, “whose report will you believe.” Pulled up the song by Ron Konoly. I know a lady’ who is ill and going though an illness. I intend to call her today and I know this is the Word for her today. There is so much the people of God are going through today, but God’s word is truth. “These things must happen” but in the end, WeWin!!!!! Even though that healing has not been manifested in your body, you WERE healed (not being healed). I too, have to continue believing and speaking God’s word over every situation and my family. Our son, at 40 years of age suffered a stroke which left him experiencing some difficulties with functions he did before the stroke. He has not been able to secure employment, which is causing financial struggles and depression. God is faithful even when we are faithless. We can declare and decree a thing and it shall be established. For God Is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think.

Join me in praying for my sister who had been diagonised with Hiv. That was the doctor’s report, but my believe is on the LORD’s report which is perpetual health in CHRIST.

Doctor’s report said it’s uterine synechiae. But I believe in HIS report.’Christ has borne my infirmities….By whose stripes I was healed. I believe GOD for Conception. Jer32:26 See! I am the Lord, the GOD of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?

My 81 year old mother had a triple bypass. That was 13/11/14 ans she is still in intensive care. Her nails on hands and feet are jet black. They are purple and swollen. On 30/11/14 the nurae siad her left hand is “dead” and she will not be able to use it. That it will always look like that. I got on my phone and found this site. I will NOT believe their negative report! I say my mum will live and not die. That she will walk out of that hoapital on beautiful feet. She will use her hands to get dressed to leave. All of her nails will be pink as her blood circulates. Stand with us as we stand with you in Jesus name!

I am so encouraged by the Bible Healing Sriptures “whose report would u believe…” I’ve been revitalized by the healing scriptures, I wish I can tell every1 I know to visit this site, it brings life & words of HOPE. We declared this day a fasting day for 1 of our friend’s son suffering with speech & I strongly believe God that the child is healed. Jhn 14:12-14.we must have FAITH in God for a miracle & all things r possible if u only believe without wavering. I’m no longer working an my accounts have handed over to attorneys, I’m just waiting on God to glorify Himself in this situation, for HE IS ABLE

  29. Cathy on April 18th, 2015 8:54 pm

We are healed in the name of Jesus. His Word in John 14:14 says if we ask anything in His name that HE WILL DO IT…. That is a direct promise… HE WILL DO IT…. We must storm the throne of God boldly, believing by faith that His report to us is all we need to think of. The Holy Spirit within us is sent by God through Jesus, His Son, and will give us TRUTH. He will speak through us TRUTH. We know the voice of the Lord, and the VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Listen intently and stand firm. Use the Word of God as your defense. THEY ARE FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD, THE SAME WORDS OF GOD THAT SPOKE CREATION INTO EXISTENCE.

My testimony is sure concerning this scans discrepancies of ectopic pregnancy, blighted ovum, fibroids etc . All I wAnt is a healthy womb, carry my baby till full term and birth him alive dear God. Am trusting God to resolve it all

  31. Shelia Moore on May 8th, 2015 3:14 pm

God can do anything but lie. Sometimes God allows people to die. We will all die someday or be changed to our new bodies. People die that are not even sick. Children die. Babies die. God is in control. Sometimes he allows his people to just come home. If Gods allows our love one to pass on, We have to keep worshiping and praising and trusting that he knows what is best for all of us. “Having done all, Stand. His word is true.
“Precious in the sight of the Lord, Is the death of his Saints.: To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”. If our love one is saved and dies, We can rejoice. “Not mourn as those that have no hope.” The dead in Christ will raise first, then we who remain will be caught up with them to meet the Lord in the air. We will be with the Lord forever. What we can do is, Make sure our love one know the Lord in the pardon of their sin. God Bless each and every one of you!

read and meditate on Exodus 23:25,26. You will carry your baby till the ninth month and you will deliver like the Hebrew woman- effortlessly.

    It is well.believe God’s Report

  34. Kunle on September 18th, 2015 1:43 pm

Awesome! I believe our healing has already been established. His word did not say by His stripes you WILL be healed. It says you ARE healed!
How we receive our healing is therefore a matter of choice and faith! Its already given. The woman with the issue of blood forcefully took her healing from the Healer while he was passing and busy attending to others. She squeezed through and touched the hem of his garment in FAITH. And guess what? She got it! Instantly….. For the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence…. Taketh by force.
Take it in the name of Jesus!

  35. bekemen on October 19th, 2015 9:29 am

My father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He had he’s first session of chemo 4weeks ago and did a test few days ago the result just came out discouraging. But I’ve chosen not to believe the report. I only believe the report of the Lord which says we shall have life and have it abundantly. I’m waiting patiently for his healing to be manifested, cos I believe that my God has healed him.
