Sandy, hang in there. God almighty is your refuge. There are many pros and cons concerning that lap band. Research it very carefully before you decide. Being that weight is not healthy and minimizing your meals, watching what you eat and exercise will bring it down. Remember that you did not get to 223 pounds in a month! In the same way, you will not weigh 170 overnight either. Patience my dear girl. It takes one bite at a time to eat an elephant and one step at a time to run a marathon. Take one day at a time and rejoice in little goals being met. Two pounds lost per week = 104 pounds lost in a year! think of it that way.

Thank you for the Scriptures. I am reading them and am seeking for a healing. I have been 223 pounds at 5′3 for too many years.Nothing seemed to work well for me in the past at all. My family wants me to have the lap band procedure and I want to wait. I have also been having trouble, real trouble driving on the freeway the last 10 years. I have had no accidents but am experiencing real fear and diziness driving now. I really need deliverance. I am 53 and have been driving since I was 17 and I mean under any and just about all conditions and now I am afraid. I don’t understand this. I need to be healed. Thank you so much for caring an making this web site.
